Very sad news. James Horner, 61, killed after crashing his light aircraft. RIP JH

I rarely say this bout any artists.

I admired & studied his ART of film scoring of putting music against pictures & the mathematics,
this pushed me to be a better film score composer!
Also I lost a gig to James Horner, many of us composers did.
He was an AMAZING TALENT!

This is the quote from the news;

'We have lost an unbelievable talent':
2 Oscar-winning composer, Titanic & Avatar also scored films  Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Aliens, Field of Dreams, etc...

He also wrote many great songs like "Then You Look at Me" with Will Jennings for Celine Dion,
"If We Hold On Together" with Will Jennings for Diana Ross.
 Horner scored over 100 films.
Horner's score for Titanic is the best selling orchestral film soundtrack of all time.

James Horner, 61, killed after crashing his light aircraft.

So sad I will truly miss him.
Your music will live forever & in my music too. ❤️
RIP JH </3
